Mobile Marketing Goes Mainstream

Marketing on mobile phones has become increasingly popular over the past few years as the technology of Short Message Service (SMS), better known as text-messaging, has become more and more refined. According to the experts, mobile marketing was born in the early 2000s in Europe when businesses started to collect mobile phone numbers and send off texts, often unwanted, that hawked various products.

Over the past few years, text messaging has become more and more legitimate as an advertising channel. Unlike email, which goes out over the public Internet, mobile marketing typically goes out over a wireless service. That gives the advertisers who have begun to utilize it have devised various ways to keep track of the sort of content that is going out over their networks. In addition various agencies involved in the business of mobile marketing, including the Interactive Advertising Bureau and the Mobile Marketing Association, have set guidelines for the industry.

Mobile marketing initially received negative media coverage as being simply a new form of spam. This was because some advertisers acted like spammers - purchasing lists of mobile numbers and sending unsolicited content to thousands of mobile phones. But as the industry came up with regulatory guidelines, mobile marketing became more and more popular. And now, according to industry watchdogs, there are over 100 million text-message ads sent to welcoming mobile phones every month.

Over the past few years mobile marketing has become increasingly popular as marketers have begun to treat text messaging as a valuable investment of their advertising budget. But one key reason for providing texts in the new wave of mobile marketing is that it allows consumers to opt in to the service. And often mobile operators demand a double opt in from the consumer and the ability for the consumer to opt out of the service at any time by sending the word STOP via text. These guidelines are established in the MMA Consumer Best Practices Guidelines which are followed by all mobile marketers in the United States.

Some Of The Unveiled Mobile Marketing Benefits

Mobile marketing through apps and SMS marketing is the latest and most influential strategy that marketers use today. Many people have adapted to this marketing idea because it is less costly, requires very minimal manpower and the return on investment are just amazing. There are many mobile marketing benefits that an entrepreneur or marketer will see as discussed below.

Mobile marketing offers results faster than any other strategy. The reason why mobile marketing is almost instantaneous is because users receive the sent messages almost immediately, whether their phones are off, on standby and even when ON. With the right numbers for target audience and list, you can effectively market a brand within a very short time and create an awareness of the same in thousands of people in a minute.

The cost of mobile marketing is relatively low, because you only get to pay the standard sms rate offered by your service provider. Some mobile service providers even provide bulk sms bundles at reduced prices, which a marketer can use to advertise his or her products to target audience. This is unlike other marketing ideas where you have to pay multiple bills before your ad can be placed for advertising.

Another fact on mobile marketing benefits is its convenience when marketing. You do not need to use rocket science techniques to advertise through mobile platforms. All you need to do is use basic and straight to the point message, which will convey the right message to create awareness. If any of the audience gets your message and is interested, he or she can contact you directly, and you can give more information on the brand or product.

You can also be assured of sales with the number of feedbacks you get from customers enquiring about your services and products. This is what marketers call advert tracking, as it gives you an estimate on interested customers, as well as learn better marketing ideas and info needed to enlighten the customers more effectively.

The mobile platform provides a huge potential in viral marketing. As long as you have the right marketing ideas and information, users are more likely to chat with their peers about the product, thus create more awareness to persons not even in your mailing list, thus lead to big sales.

Most mobile devices today are internet enabled and many users use their phones to access social networking sites such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. These social sites can be used as micro blogging mobile platforms, where a marketer can have his or her adverts displayed for enhanced visibility. With smartphones taking over the markets, most people access the internet through these phones and can be highly influenced when one uses a link in text messages to woo them into viewing the merchant website.

Of all mobile marketing benefits, the mobile payment platform is amazing and has opened doors to many. Marketers can sell items, services and products through their mobile phones, and get paid through secure mobile payment platforms. Once the transactions are completed, the marketer or entrepreneur can release the items, thus no need for an intermediary.

Very few people or marketers use the mobile platform to advertise their products, making it less saturated as opposed to other advertisement platforms. By using the mobile marketing platform, you can be almost sure that only you are advertising your product to potential customers, and no other person has tried the service. Less market saturation by marketers creates a bigger avenue to generate more return on investments.

If you haven't started advertising through the mobile platform, then these are some of the mobile marketing benefits you might be missing out. Take charge of your brand today with more sales.

The Benefits Of Internet Marketing

Whilst it is fair to say that Internet marketing has certainly had an effect on offline trading figures, the comparisons are not directly proportionate for the simple reason that the Internet has opened up huge new markets which were not feasible before this 'information superhighway' was born. The interactive nature of Internet marketing, and the low costs involved in distributing information and media to a global audience, makes a very attractive platform for any business model, regardless of size. Latest figures from credit card companies report a 15 billion dollar turnover from Internet sales in the last year, and rising rapidly. So it is not surprising that budgets for Internet marketing are taking a bigger slice of the advertising cake and the numbers of individuals earning their living directly from Internet marketing are ballooning off the scale.

Internet marketing draws together all the creative and technical aspects of the Internet, which include design, development, advertising and sales, and the techniques used in Internet marketing include search engine marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing, online advertising and more recently, social media marketing methods as employed in blog marketing, and viral marketing.

Internet marketing is the process of building, growing and promoting a business individual or organization through any online activity including websites, blog sites, article marketing, press releases, online market research, email marketing, and online advertising. In order to fully comprehend the huge benefits offered by the Internet marketing process, it is difficult not to draw comparisons with offline marketing methods, but it has to be remembered that one is not a replacement for the other. Internet marketing and offline marketing will both have an important part to play in the future of any business, assuming it is not purely Internet based. Let us now look at the benefits that Internet marketing has to offer..

Low Cost

Since the Internet can be regarded as a 'free for all' activity center where information is shared freely with all interested parties, the cost involved in the overall Internet marketing strategy is relatively low. Apart from the obvious expenditure incurred in operating a web site, a large proportion of the budgets set aside for Internet marketing will typically be swallowed up by services and resources offering expertise in the various marketing techniques that fall under the Internet marketing umbrella. For example, Search Engine Optimization plays an important role in the positioning of a web site in search engine rankings and the larger organizations will often employ the services of a search engine optimization company to carry out this duty. Equally there are Internet Advertising Agencies available to handle all aspects of online advertising. Smaller companies or sole traders may carry out their own search engine optimization and advertising campaigns and would need only a few hundred dollars budget for marketing software tools. Either way, the overall cost of Internet marketing is much lower than the cost of a similar offline campaign.

Work From Any Location

All activities that fall under the Internet marketing banner can easily be organized from a laptop computer. Most communications are made using online contact forms, email or instant messenger, and payments for items such as web site hosting, internet marketing software tools and resource fees can all be paid online using a credit card. Web site design and management is also another area of Internet marketing easily managed from a laptop computer. The versatility of the 'laptop' means that these duties can be carried out from any location and therefore those involved in the Internet marketing fraternity can easily work from a simple home office, or even when away from home. Commuting is totally unnecessary.

The Level Playing Field

Unlike offline commerce, the use of Internet marketing techniques now make it possible for an individual or sole trader to compete with the larger organizations in his online business. It's true that a larger company whose name was on everyone's lips would have a head start in the marketing of their web site, and a larger presence in the search engine pages, beyond that the doors are opened and it's quite common to see a smaller commercial outfit riding higher than their much larger competition in search engine results. Yes the online advertising budgets would be much bigger for the national companies, but there are many Internet marketing techniques and resources available to the solo marketers that would help them to stay in touch. There are literally hundreds of new Internet millionaires developed on a daily basis.

There are also many niche areas with good benefits derived from Internet marketing, but generally the process is attractive all round as a method of promoting any business, recreational or personal projects across the Internet. Internet Marketing is where the future lies for businesses large and small. The Internet has arrived and no-one can deny it!

Internet Marketing Comes Full Circle

Internet Marketing is that specialized area of marketing that is conducted completely in CyberSpace, and the people and businesses that do this type of marketing may or may not have a brick-and-mortar presence. Many very successful Internet Marketing companies are run out of peoples' homes, sometimes by only one person, although the more successful companies usually have a small staff of up to ten people. Many very successful marketing companies have started online and stayed online, because it's what they know and what they do best. Yet many other Internet Marketers have decided to expand their marketing efforts, realizing that Internet Marketing is just one type of Direct Response Marketing and the internet is simply a medium, like radio, television, or print advertising. By far, most Internet Marketing is Information Marketing that is conducted online, and most Information Marketing is Direct Response Marketing.

Wikipedia defines Direct Response Marketing as "a form of marketing designed to solicit a direct response which is specific and quantifiable. The delivery of the response is direct between the viewer and the advertiser, that is, the customer responds to the marketer directly. This is in contrast to Direct Marketing in which the marketer contacts the potential customer directly (e.g., telemarketing). Direct Response Advertising is characterized by four primary elements:

1. An Offer

2. Sufficient information for the consumer to make a decision whether to act

3. An explicit "call to action"

4. Means of response (typically multiple options such as a toll-free number, web page, and email)."

"Internet Marketing" evolved primarily from the offline world of Direct-mail advertising, one form of Direct Response Marketing. The world of Internet Marketing changes frequently as it responds to consumers' desires and whims more rapidly than is possible through any other media. That is a major advantage of Internet Marketing and Advertising as compared to any other media. In the past two years, since I have been actively following Internet Marketing, I have seen quite a few changes in approach and trends. One major trend that I have seen with increasing frequency and being recommended by an increasing number of Online Marketers is the tendency for Marketers who have made their fortunes (usually multi-millions of dollars) entirely on the internet, to be recommending that all online marketers start taking their marketing efforts offline, returning to the direct mail efforts and the telephone marketing (telemarketing) of traditional offline marketers. This is now a major Internet Marketing trend, and it is because it allows these marketers to grow their businesses faster and reach people that they could not otherwise reach. It is also being done because the internet itself has become so "noisy". There are so many Internet Marketers trying to reach a lot of the same potential customers, that their email messages are being ignored more and deleted more. They are having a harder time breaking through the "noise" and so they are turning to the offline world to build customer loyalty. This is a trend that I anticipate will only continue to grow over time.

Journaling Through Codependency

Most of us had diaries when we were younger. We'd write about that cute boy in homeroom, vent our anger about our siblings, voice our feelings of unfairness about a grounding or restriction our parents enforced, or simply express our dreams for our future.

Journaling has now been recognized to be more powerful than once thought. Not only to codependency, but the scientific community has been researching journaling for more than 20 years. It has proven to be very beneficial. It can help find meaning or come to terms with a stressful or demanding situation.

You can start by making a list of the feelings you have regarding your life situation. Then you can make a list of any goals you have. You may not have thought about your goals in a long time. Being codependent sometimes you focus too much on another and the troubles they have in their life.

Keeping your feelings displayed within a journal lets you have something to refer back to. You can look for themes within the pages and see if you repeat the same pattern of griping. Is there shame, hurt or anger coming through in your writing? Your subconscious may be trying to protect you from a failure it sees by not allowing you to move forward or past the situation.

When you write honestly, you can access your feelings and find ways to constructively heal yourself. You can again dream and that dreaming will motivate you to take action. As you continue journaling, it will become clearer to you which direction to go. Know that you always have choices. You can redesign what is holding you back and brainstorm any options you can think of to try.

Those options will only work if you act on them. You may be afraid of change and feel overwhelmed, but if you break your options into small tasks it will help take pressure off you and you can implement your ideas into action. Outline both short-term and long-term goals. Write about the ways you can nurture yourself. Write about how you wish to grow. You can create a personal mission statement you want to focus on.

Reflect on who you truly are. What are your dreams? What are you proud of? Why do you doubt yourself? What are you eager to change? When you write in your inner voice, you will discover parts of you that you thought were missing or weren't aware of. It will help you release your fears and build your life to your satisfaction.

You might even want to write a letter within your journal to your significant other telling them how you wish them to help you grow. Even if you don't give this letter to the other, it is a very therapeutic exercise to do.

You can write poetry or make a collage within your journals. Show what you would like your life to represent. A very beneficial thing to do is keep a gratitude journal. Write down everyday what you are grateful for. Even if you think it is a small point that has little meaning, write it down. That makes you focus on the good in your life, which helps you create better things for you.

Journaling is a very safe place for you to express your emotions. You can bear your true heart without fear of being exposed. Your journal is only for you. Don't be afraid to speak the truth. When you write your true feelings, you find hope.

Alcohol Abuse and Codependency: Two Sides of the Same Coin

As my sister-in-law's ex-military husband sank into his confined world of alcoholism, she refused to shrink along with him. She was very clear she would not go through another divorce. Instead, she vigorously pursued her garden, bridge and investment club activities. She maintained a strong bond with her middle-aged daughter and many friends...until cancer ended her life.

Her approach was not typical. To her credit, she chose to look after herself, rather than adjusting her behavior to keep the marriage in balance.

Generally, if one party to the marriage changes, the other adjusts to keep things in balance. If either of them refuses to adjust, the other one may readjust to regain balance. When both refuse to adjust, typically they eventually end the marriage, but they may just lead separate lives within the marriage framework.
Far more frequently as one partner to a marriage increasingly abuses alcohol, the other adjusts to keep the marriage in balance. And that is what happens to a couple when one becomes addicted to alcohol and the other becomes codependent.

I'll use the example of the alcoholic male and codependent female. It could be the other way around of course. They both drank when they married, but when they started to have children she curtailed her drinking to just the occasional drink. Their children are now in their teens.

He gradually increased the frequency and amount of his alcohol consumption. Now he is never without a drink in his hand when he is at home after work, and he often gets drunk on weekends. He denies vehemently that he has a problem, arguing that he is functioning, that is, he works and continues to be their primary breadwinner. He insists that the few health problems he has have nothing to do with his drinking.

How does this play out?

• He gets grumpy when he drinks; she is extra careful of what she says when he's drinking.
• He criticizes her for just about everything; she apologizes to keep the peace.
• He demands secrecy about what goes on at home; both she and the kids never tell their friends about his drinking. The kids never have friends over.
• Increasingly he demands exclusive attention from her; her friends have drifted away and her outside interests have dwindled to almost nothing.
• To his credit, he will not drink and drive; she takes full responsibility for errands, taking the kids to their events and picking them up.
• He often feels sick (hangover); she calls his employer to say he is too ill to work today.
• He denies he is an alcoholic; she denies her sense of hopelessness.
• He is addicted to alcohol; she is addicted to the care of an alcoholic.
• He sees himself as a victim of life; she sees herself as a victim of his alcoholism.

If either the alcohol abuser or the codependent is you, nothing will change because your marriage is well-balanced. Nothing will change, that is, unless one of you chooses to step out of your addiction and create a life for yourself...and then does it.

You may ask, "What will happen to my marriage?" In my case, when I overcame my alcohol addiction, my wife left me. There are no guarantees. But if you want a life, you'll have to rock the boat. It starts with you.

Chiropractic Treatment For Sciatica

Sciatica is a symptom of a trouble with the sciatic nerve, which is a large nerve that runs from the lower back down the back of each leg. The sciatic nerve controls muscles in the back of your knee and lower leg and provides feeling to the back of your thigh; the sole of your foot and part of your lower leg. Chiropractic medicine is regularly used to treat sciatica. When suffering from sciatica, you have pain, numbness, weakness or tingling. Sciatica can often start in the lower back and extend down the leg to the calf, foot, or in some cases even to the toes. Sciatica is usually on only one side of the body.

Chiropractic treatment for Sciatica is one of the most accepted and widely practiced healing techniques used for ridiculer pain conditions. Chiropractic centers its treatment on the back and spine and chiropractic doctors are truly back pain and sciatica specialists. A patient may consider going to a chiropractic doctor for sciatica treatment. Chiropractic practitioners offer drug-free and non-invasive therapies to treat sciatica. Chiropractic care involves a belief that the body has the potential to heal itself. Various methods including nutritional counseling, TENS treatment, massage therapy and exercises for sciatica can be applied for chiropractic care of sciatica.

Before starting the actual treatment, the chiropractic doctor asks questions about the patient's medical history, performs a physical examination, and may ask for an x-ray or other imaging study, like an MRI. A detailed examination is part of good chiropractic care. Chiropractic can utilize a variety of treatment modalities, but it mainly concentrates on using specific manual spinal manipulations also called chiropractic adjustments or adjustments. The theory of chiropractic medicine states that in order for the body to be optimized for health, the neurological pathways must remain open and unhindered. Many chiropractic practitioners may also use various other forms of complementary treatment including nutritional counseling, TENS treatment, massage therapy and exercises for sciatica. The chiropractic treatment plan generally includes:

1. Ice/cold therapy: This chiropractic treatment technique the chiropractic doctor uses ice or a cold pack to help reduce inflammation, to control the pain from sciatica.

2. Spinal Manipulation (Adjustments): Spinal manipulation techniques are utilized by the chiropractic practitioners to realign the spine. This is what separates chiropractic doctors from other doctors. Parts of the misaligned spine may cause inflammation, pain, muscle spasms, and some other sciatica symptoms. Spinal manipulation helps reducing nerve irritability. This is also called chiropractic adjustment.

3. TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation): This chiropractic method uses a TENS unit which transmits a painless electrical current to nerves through the skin to help control pain. Small electrode bits are positioned on or near the painful area. Although TENS equipment used in chiropractic by the practitioners is large, many patients are given only a small portable unit that may be attached to the belt. TENS helps in relieving muscle spasms, stiffness, and helps in improving mobility and controlling pain by prompting the body to produce endorphins, which are the body's natural pain killer.

4. Ultrasound: The chiropractic treatment may also involve an ultrasound which by increasing blood circulation helps to reduce muscle spasms, cramping, swelling, stiffness, and pain. It is done by sending sound waves deep into the muscle tissues, creating a gentle heat that improves circulation and healing.

In some cases the cause of sciatica is beyond the scope of chiropractic care. And in such cases, your chiropractic doctor refers the patient to the appropriate specialist.

Can Hypnotherapy Help Me With My Panic Attacks?

Hypnotherapy has been used for thousands of years, in various forms, throughout a variety of cultures. Modern hypnotherapy was endorsed as a medical procedure in the mid 20th century by both British and American Medical Associations. By 1995, the NIH issued a statement that scientific evidence favored the use of hypnotherapy for chronic pain.

While hypnotherapy is still considered an alternative medical practice, and lacks enough medical research to validate it as a proven medical treatment - hypnotherapy is accepted within many Psychology and Medical circles as a valid and effective therapy.

How does Hypnotherapy for Panic Attacks Work?

Within the professional hypnotherapy community, the current accepted method of hypnotherapy to cure Panic Attacks is called Analytical Hypnotherapy, or Hypnoanalysis.

This kind of hypnotherapy is actually a very focused and intensive form of talk therapy that places the patient in a safe and secure environment, and then seeks to walk the patient, using hypnosis, through the process of identifying the underlying cause of the patient's panic attacks, anxiety, or phobia.

The theory is that once the underlying cause of the anxiety is identified and reduced, all of the associated symptoms (phobia, anxiety and panic attacks) will also become dramatically reduced as well.

The treatment regimen using hypnotherapy can be a very long, intense, and expensive process. However, much like regular psychotherapy, this is a process that will help the patient to self-examine and identify what the source of the fear and anxieties are. The addition of hypnosis can serve to deepen and intensify that process.

Scientific Evidence

Unfortunately, hypnotherapy is a poorly understood and poorly studied form of therapy. There are only very few studies that offer anything conclusive regarding the effectiveness of hypnotherapy to cure panic attacks. Several studies have reported that hypnotherapy does reduce anxiety and chronic pain. Other research has suggested that hypnotherapy might not be as effective as group therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy. However, there is certainly enough research to suggest that hypnotherapy can have a significant impact for many people.

Can Hypnotherapy Cure my Panic Attacks?

Much of the debate surrounding hypnotherapy is the argument that studies have not represented whether Hypnotherapy can produce positive results that go beyond the placebo effect (positive results without doing anything). However, given that Hypnotherapy can produce positive results for some people at all is important enough for people suffering from panic attacks to seriously consider it as a form of treatment. Even if the benefits of hypnotherapy are due to only a psychological placebo effect - the results, for you, would still be the same. If you are seeking relief from symptoms of anxiety and panic, and this process results in relief, it doesn't really matter if the effects are purely psychological - obviously this approach would work for you, and that's what matters.

There is enough anecdotal evidence to suggest, at least, that hypnotherapy may be a powerful and effective therapy to deal with the source of what is causing anxiety and panic attacks in your life.

Simply try one or two hypnotherapy sessions, and get a feel for whether or not the therapy seems to have any impact on your sense of well being and anxiety. If you find that the hypnotherapy appears to lead to a greater feeling of calmness - then it works for you, and you should stick to this form of therapy.

The important approach when it comes to issues of psychology and anxiety is to accept that every patient is different, and it is up to you, the patient, to identify what therapy and treatment works for you. If you discover that hypnotherapy is a powerful remedy for you - then regardless of what the scientific community says - hypnotherapy clearly is going to help you achieve your goal of being panic-attack free.

Codependency Co-Addiction - The Dance

The majority of people have heard the label codependent, but have no clue what it means. It's a mistake, but many people believe that to be codependent means to be overly needy or clingy in relationships. They also believe it refers mostly to women and to romantic relationships. Yes, neediness or clinginess can be a trait of some codependents but it's not an accurate way to describe a codependent relationship. In reality, codependency is far more in-depth than just one or two character traits. Some needy people are not codependent at all and some codependents don't outwardly act needy. By the end of this article, the goal is that you'll have a better understanding of codependent relationships and what makes them up.

In actuality, the word codependent is relatively new. It was coined in the 1970's, even though codependent behavior has been around for a lot longer than that. When Alcoholics Anonymous came onto the scene to help alcoholics, some counselors began to note that many relatives of alcoholics exhibited similar traits. Specifically, these family members spent a majority of their time dealing with the problems of their loved ones. Before the word codependent started being used, these family members were called co-alcoholics. However, it was understood later that a person need not be in a relationship with an alcoholic in order to exhibit signs of codependent behavior.

Codependency can be confusing because it covers a lot of unhealthy behaviors and thought patterns. However, some of the dominant characteristics of someone who is codependent include:

- Using relationships as a origin of self-worth instead of finding it from within.

- Spend a large portion of their time working to fix other people - through giving advice, forcing assistance, etc. This happens even when the assistance is unwanted.

The sad part about codependency is that people who suffer from this disorder are rarely able to stay in relationships, and the ones they do have are unhealthy. This can't change unless the codependent chooses to make a change. The good news is the codependency is a learned behavior, which means it can also be unlearned. The bad news is that the only person who can make a change is the codependent. He/she must be willing to admit that the way they relate is unhealthy and also be willing to take steps to change their behaviors.

It's important to say that codependents are not bad. The truth is, they are typically very kind-hearted, marvelous people who truly care about the other people in their lives. Unfortunately, what usually happens is that they don't believe that they are worth being cared about - by themselves or others. If this sounds like you, it's worth your time to learn more about what makes a person codependent and what you can to do make good changes in your life.

Kathryn Lambert is a recovering codependent and a professional blogger. Her blog on codependent relationships [http://codependentrelationships.org] includes in-depth stories of her own journey to become healthier as well as a large amount of practical information and resources on overcoming codependency [http://codependentrelationships.org/category/overcoming-codependency-2/].

I use both paid-for and free services to mobile-enable my web properties, Of course, the free ones aren't quite as feature-rich. However, they get you going in the right direction. For example, Blogger now has a mobile-enable feature. There are free WordPress plugins that a worth experimenting with and also, Bing Business Portal are doing some pretty cool mobile stuff that melds nicely with their Facebook partnership. The best part, these won't cost you a penny.

Another and perhaps more important element to mobile-enabling your site is MSEO. That's 'Mobile Search Engine Optimization' and it's something that will be attracting massive amounts of buzz in the coming months. So this is the perfect segue to method number two...

Mobile Marketing Method #2: Mobile SEO

If I were to write a Business Owner's Bible, I think mastering Mobile SEO would be the holy grail for Mobile Marketing. Suffice to say that the ability to Optimize your website for the mobile search engines is tantamount to building a solid mobile marketing foundation. Obviously, Being found on mobile devices is first and foremost. After all, showing up is half the battle.

Next, it would be wise to build a mobile sitemap. Simply go to your Google Webmaster Tools Account, set that up and submit accordingly. Using this action step you will probably be 90% smarter than your competition who might be oblivious to such do-it-yourself tactics. One thing's for sure, Mobile Marketing won't wait for laggards. As is true in most businesses, gaining a competitive advantage is all about timing and positioning.

Speaking of positioning, as it holds true with regular ol' SEO, backlinks rule. Mobile Directories come in handy here. Go grab some links from other mobile sites and watch for improvements in your search results.

Mobile Marketing Method #3: Employ the Hcard Micro-format

Okay, don't worry, it's not brain surgery, it's just your own "crawler-friendly" business info displayed in a format that MSEOs will "appreciate" when queried for local business data. Just like SEO you want these engines to locate your business quickly, thus enabling prospective customers to find you in a snap on their mobile devices. Here's a tip: Search "Hcard Creator" to build your code, then and place it on your site where you display your contact information.

Mobile Marketing Method #4: Join Foursquare (For Business)

Now moving on to the fun part. First, sign up for Foursquare's free Merchant Platform and by all means, claim your venue. Understand that Foursquare is part of the fastest growing segment of social networking right now, so if you've shied away from Foursquare (or you live under a rock), it's time to get your game on because quite literally, that's what it is -- a game. Only in this social networking game, folks will use your business as a "check-in" point not virtually, but in the real world using Foursquare's app to compete for perks such as mobile coupons and such. Foursquare's merchant tools are great and your customers will just eat this up on their way to becoming the "Mayor" of whatever. Trust me, it's a fun way to find new
customers and keep the old ones coming back for more.

Mobile Marketing Method #5: Start A Facebook Business Page

Don't tell me you don't have one. Okay, we'll just assume you do and go from there. By the way, you should know one thing about Facebook. It's the only company on Earth that Google fears. Facebook is where your customers, and most Internet users for that matter are spending their time. On average these folks are on Facebook about 55 minutes per day. So if you were wondering where the eyes are on the web, now you know. You already know most people using Facebook are practically addicted to it; constantly checking their Facebook on their mobile devices. So there you go. Start communicating with your customers on your Facebook business page. Simply keep your page up-to-date and your people apprised as to what's happening with your business.

Very important: Offer an enticing "Facebook Deal"... The good news is that Facebook will actually assist in promoting within your local area.

Mobile Marketing BONUS Method: Build A Text Message (SMS) Marketing list As Fast As You Can

Okay, listen to me, hehe, I'm pounding the table on this one again. I mention this BONUS method simply because it's the fastest, cheapest, most efficient way to get new customers ever conceived in the history of marketing, bar none! I can't be anymore emphatic in expressing my opinion about this -- SMS is the future of contact management. I'm assuming you know the value of a good email list, right? Well, I'm not saying that you should abandon your current email marketing program, but know this: Open rates for business emails are anemic, 20% in a best case scenario compared to an astounding 95% open rates for Text. I've read up to 97% in some publications, but looking at the numbers, this is a no-brainer for any local business seeking to add more customers, get more sales, make more money, etc, etc, etc. That's because SMS (Short Message Service) Text Marketing is by far, the best return on investment opportunity in your marketing budget.

So my final word on this is to say, do not underestimate the power of your own "text keyword" and "shortcode" as these can and should be your next revenue-generating project. Keep in mind, your
customers will be opting into your SMS list and they WILL be looking forward to your offers, coupons and updates via text. I predict that at the end of the day, your response ratios will blow you away.

About Hypnotherapy & Hypnotherapy Weight Loss

If you have been trying to lose weight and have not had much success, you might want to consider obtaining help from a professional that has completed hypnotherapy courses that are specifically designed to train them in hypnotherapy weight loss techniques. The reality is that there are thousands of people that have been unsuccessful with losing weight through traditional methods. With the help of someone with the proper hypnotherapy training, however, you can finally shed those extra pounds and lead a happier and healthier life!

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that is conducted with the help of hypnosis, which is a naturally occurring state of mind that everyone has experienced at one time or another. When you watch a television program and "space out" to the point that you are unaware of what others are saying around you, you are in a form of hypnotic trance. By purposely putting the mind in a hypnotic trance and establishing what is referred to as "selective thinking," it is possible to encourage the mind to reject limiting beliefs that stand between you and your weight loss goals.

How Does Hypnotherapy Weight Loss Work?

When it comes to helping you lose weight with hypnotherapy, London therapists as well as therapists in other parts of the country and the world help address the cause of the weight problem. There are many different factors that can contribute to the weight loss problem. Some of these include:

o Quality of a person's diet
o Family upbringing and training
o Effects of a person's mood and emotions
o Habit
o Having a sensitivity to certain types of foods
o Lack of knowledge about foods
o Low levels of exercise
o Having a genetic predisposition

Hypnotherapy weight loss programs address all of these issues in order to help you lose weight and keep it off over time. In essence, the hypnotherapy specialist strives to remove your mind's programming that causes you to eat out of habit, emotion or training. In addition, hypnotherapy can help you increase your exercise levels and can even help you gain control of your eating habits by teaching you self-hypnosis. With the help of your personal hypnotherapy training, you can more effectively reinforce what the hypnotherapy weight loss professional has accomplished.

Why Should I Use Hypnotherapy to Help with Weight Loss?

There are many benefits to using hypnotherapy to assist you with weight loss. First, thousands of people have found success with hypnotherapy and are able to lose weight without experiencing the level of suffering that is often associated with dieting. Second, hypnotherapy is not invasive or potentially harmful to your health, which is not the case with weight loss surgical procedures. Finally, hypnotherapy also creates a long term life change, which means you will be able to beat your weight problems and maintain the results throughout your lifetime.

After completing the necessary hypnotherapy courses, a trained professional can implement hypnotherapy weight loss techniques to help you lose weight while also providing you with hypnotherapy training that will allow you to reinforce your therapy later. When it comes to weight loss hypnotherapy, London has numerous professionals that can provide the service to those looking to lose weight.

Managing Codependent Relationships

Codependent relationships can range from the annoying to the truly scary, dependent upon how the codependency is ultimately expressed. Codependency may be a symptom of deeper issues that need resolution or it may simply be an infantile attempt to win love. In either case, managing codependent relationships can be a significant problem.

The term "codependent" or "co-dependent" is thrown around fairly easily nowadays in order to describe all manner of annoying companions. But what is a codependent? A codependent is a person with low self-esteem who feels the need to be loved by others and will do anything to stay in a relationship, relying on the other person to make them feel worthy. The codependent often attempts to win this love by doing things or giving gifts to the object of their affection. Ultimately, when these gestures are spurned, the codependent is hurt and responds with sadness, frustration, anger -- and guilt.
Codependents are, by definition, manipulators. They may be fairly innocent, low-grade manipulators, or they may be burgeoning world-dominating evil geniuses, but they are all manipulators. If you are dealing with codependent relationships, it is fundamental to understand this aspect before moving forward. The cardinal rule of managing codependent relationships is this: You must cut the manipulative, codependent behavior off cold.

The only real cure for codependency is for the codependent to find a source of genuine self-esteem. This involves cultivating a competence in which they may take pride and, as a result, it can be a long path towards good, well balanced mental health. As a friend of a codependent you may assist them on this path, but doing so without enabling their codependent behaviors is difficult.

Here are a few pointers to assist in managing codependent relationships:

Cut off the Codependent Behavior - This must be handled on an individual basis, depending upon the personality of the codependent, but it comes down to not rewarding codependent behaviors. Do not accept the gifts or the offers of over-the-top assistance. The seemingly loving gestures are bait to attract your affection and a return favor, so you must not reward that.

Encourage the Codependent to Cultivate a Hobby - The codependent needs to find an area of authentic expertise in which he or she can take pride and this may be in the form of a hobby or the study of a field of particular interest. If they already enjoy dancing, encourage them to take lessons, or if they show an interest in model railroading, encourage them to build a layout. Creative outlets can be tremendous channels for the codependent's energies and they help to build that necessary self esteem.

Encourage the Codependent to Advance at Work - Often the codependent personality will be bored with their work and they redirect their focus inappropriately. Encourage them to seek additional challenges or specializations through their work. Or, if their current job is truly dead-end, encourage them to polish their resume and seek better employment elsewhere. This, again, is a huge self-esteem builder and that is what the codependent needs the most.

Managing codependent relationships can be a nightmare, especially for those who truly care about the person. Ultimately the burden falls on them to either kick the codependent out of their lives altogether or to try to give the codependent the firm support that they need.
